Dr. Djordje Dabic graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with honours distinction. Djordje continued his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he graduated summa cum laude. Throughout his clinical rotations, Djordje has been exposed to a wide variety of simple and complex cases within the Toronto communities.
Dr. Dabic believes in and practices evidence-based care, where he is committed in educating and empowering the patient through their acute or chronic injuries. Passionate about sports and exercise, Owen’s journey began at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he earned his Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. During his time spent there, he was heavily involved in the school’s athletics and recreation as a student therapist and trainer for the Men’s Varsity Rugby Team and as a student strength and conditioning intern for other varsity sports. He is currently on his way to achieving a graduate certificate at Sheridan College for Clinical Kinesiology, applying his knowledge from his undergrad to a clinical environment through a blend of problem-based learning and co-operative placements.
Besides his love for fitness, Owen is also very eager to teach and inspire others about the importance of nutrition. He has recently started a social media account sharing recipes to some of his creative yet simple high protein meals. Natasha developed her love for movement and the human body as a young child through dance and sports. After completing her undergraduate degree at McMaster University, she traveled to the United States to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Utica College in Upstate New York. With a passion for learning, traveling and adventure, she spent some time volunteering in Africa and Albania and started the first part of her career as a travelling theapist working throughout the United States. During this time, she worked in a variety of different settings with a full spectrum of clients and impairments. She also completed an Orthopedic Residency in Savannah Georgia and became a Registered Power Yoga Instructor. Natasha recently returned back home to settle down in Ontario after living in the States for the past 11 years. Since moving home, she has been fueled to stay on her learning journey in order to apply effective and efficient treatments to all of her patients. In the past year, she has completed courses in Dry Needling, ART, DNS and took another Yoga Teachers Training program and yoga assisting program. Dr. Katie Sheridan is a Chiropractor and Pilates Rehab provider with a background in competitive gymnastics and dance. She began her pursuit for a career in health care at Wilfrid Laurier University where she studied Kinesiology and was the Student athletic therapist for the Men’s Football team (2006-2010).
After graduating with Honours, Dr. Katie completed the four-year Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She graduated with Clinic Honours and further enhanced her skills and education by attaining certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART) and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (McMaster University). Dr. Katie is a certified Sport First Responder, and a Shift Concussion Management Practitioner. Dr. Katie recently earned a Masters degree in Human Anatomy & Physiology Instruction (MSHAPI) at the Northeast College of Health Sciences. Zack Shurtleff graduated from the nationally accredited Humber College Massage Therapy program in 2017 and before that was a Canfit certified personal trainer and fitness, instructor specialist. He has a passion for combining the benefits of exercise and manual therapy to enhance the quality of life of his patients by reducing pain and discomfort and returning people to their pain-free living. His goals in treatment are to understand one’s physical capacities through thorough hands-on assessment and creating a plan that will apply stress to the body to elicit a positive response and change. By improving one’s movement through massage and manual therapy, coupled with exercise and strengthening, his patients have found long-term success that has them leaving stronger and feeling better than before.
